Course Objective
This course equips participants with essential knowledge and skills in the safe handling of methanol as fuel on board a ship.
Participants can apply their skills in carrying out firefighting operations and responding to emergencies on a ship using methanol as fuel. Participants will gain a thorough understanding of the characteristics of methanol and the relevant safety regulations as per the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) interim guidelines.

The course is designed for the Maritime personnel responsible for the designated safety duties associated with the care, use, or emergency response to the fuel on-board ships.
