Course Objective
This course equips participants with essential knowledge and skills in the safe handling of methanol as fuel on board a ship.
Participants can apply their skills in carrying out firefighting operations and responding to emergencies on a ship using methanol as fuel. Participants will gain a thorough understanding of the characteristics of methanol and the relevant safety regulations as per the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) interim guidelines.
