Course Objective
This course provides participants with essential fundamental knowledge on the theory of Flying, Advanced Aircraft operation principles and techniques abstracted from Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore's (CAAS) Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL), Singapore Air Safety Publication's (SA91proÊÓÆµ) syllabus and regulation from International Air Transport Association's (IATA) Competency-Based Training (CBT) Framework. During the course, participants are exposed to authentic Aircraft piloting experience, via a static and full motion flight simulator. The course will equip participants with the required skills and knowledge pursue a career in Commercial Piloting. Participants will also receive professional advice through interactions with instructors having past flying experience or careers in piloting.
Participants will experience Aircraft piloting through a classroom instruction, simulated flying, and experienced reputable airline Pilots' shared experiences. Trainers of the course are current First Officers and Captains, who will also share valuable flying experience with participants. If participants intend to be pilots in future, the trainer will be able to provide valuable information, of how to become a commercial pilot, to them.
