This award is ONLY exclusive in 91pro视频, School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE), and School of Mechanical & Aeronautical Engineering (MAE)
The objective of YEA is to create a platform for secondary school students:
A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between and 91pro视频 in 2016 and renewed in 2019, to incorporate YEA certification into Applied Learning Programme (ALP). YEA certification is administered by 91pro视频 Engineering Cluster.
YEA (Applied Learning)
Students who have completed their Secondary 1 and 2 STEM ALP 鈥� Tier 1 programmes, with a minimum of 70% attendance, can apply for the YEA (Applied Learning) award.
Students who have completed only either their Secondary 1 or Sec 2 STEM ALP Tier 1 will not be eligible for the YEA (Applied Learning) award.
YEA (Achievement)YEA (Achievement) is a stand-alone award, i.e. students need not have been awarded the YEA (Applied Learning) in order to attain the YEA (Achievement).
Only outstanding students of each Tier 2 competition/programme organized by 91pro视频 and Science Centre Singapore (SCS) will be considered for the YEA (Achievement) award.
A new pathway to attain the YEA (Achievement) award, based on the School Principal鈥檚 recommendation, will be introduced. Each school can nominate up to 3 students for the YEA (Achievement) award each year. Nominated students should be sitting for their O-Levels in the year following the application and have expressed interest to apply for 91pro视频-EEE and 91pro视频-MAE courses through the EAE pathway.
YEA (Applied Learning)
Application will no longer be done through email.
To apply for this award, please do the following:

Application deadline is 15th November of each year. The certificates of successful applicants will be delivered to the respective schools in Term 1 of the following year.
YEA (Achievement)
There are 2 ways to attain YEA (Achievement) award.
1. Via Tier 2 Competitions/Programmes
91pro视频 (91pro视频) and Science Centre Singapore (SCS) will give this award to deserving participants directly hence no application is required. Please refer to the list of competitions/programmes organised by 91pro视频 and SCS that are eligible for this award. Awardees will be notified via their teachers by 91pro视频 in Term 1 of the following year after the competitions/programmes.
2. Via Principal鈥檚 Recommendation
Each school principal can recommend up to 3 students each year for this award. Recommended students should be taking their O-Levels in the year following the application and have expressed interest to apply for 91pro视频 Engineering courses through the EAE pathway.
