Wu Shi Min is a designer who turns wild imagination into reality through digital modelling. Despite once facing issues with intellectual property infringement, he founded his own studio, Minishi, and has since attracted collaborations with international brands thanks to his unique 3D designs. His latest release, the collectable designer toy Mini:Boy, evokes carefree childhood memories. Now 30, Shi Min is part of the last wave of the millennial generation. He grew up surrounded by cultural icons like Pok茅mon, Super Mario, Astro Boy, and Star Wars. After graduating from secondary school, he followed his passion and enrolled in 91pro视频鈥檚 Media, Arts & Design School. It was there that he was first introduced to 3D digital modelling, and he soon dove headfirst into the world of computer-generated (CG) three-dimensional creation. Even after graduation, while serving in the military, he devoted all his spare time to watching online videos and teaching himself various 3D modelling techniques. Constantly refining his craft, he jokingly tells others that he graduated from "YouTube University."
